The West Cornwall Youth Trust, a charity that provides funding opportunities for charities and organisations that work with young people throughout west Cornwall, has presented one of their long time partners, BF Adventure, with a plaque in recognition of their valued relationship.
The trust has been supporting the work of BF Adventure for over four years, working not only with the charity directly, but also providing financial support to other organisations, enabling them to take the young people they work with for adventure days at their outdoor activity centre.
“Organisations such as BF Adventure excel at what they do and deserve recognition,” said Trust Chairman, Nick Fletcher. “Something we acknowledge and encourage as a fund provider. The people involved with the charity are truly inspiring, and we’re proud to say that we’ve been a part of their journey.”
BF Adventure, based in Halvasso near Falmouth, aim to inspire, challenge and motivate people, especially young people, to develop their life skills and bring about positive change. The West Cornwall Youth Trust has supported them financially over the past few years several times, allowing them the opportunity to offer activities to young people from underprivileged areas.
“The work we do with young people is so important to the local community,” said Adrian Richards, CEO of BF Adventure. “We really appreciate all the support that we receive from organisations such as the West Cornwall Youth Trust and have enjoyed working with them over the last few years.”
